Golf cart battery selection, before you order.

Compare models with the cart, battery space and charging setup in mind. Use these questions to prepare a clear conversation with Bill.

Use the golf-cart battery pre-order checklist

Choosing a golf cart lithium battery

What information should I gather before choosing?

Start with the cart make, model and year; the current electrical-system information; battery-compartment measurements; terminal and cable arrangement; and the charger make and model. Include any controller or accessory details you already have. These details help Bill discuss an exact configuration.

Compare golf cart battery models

How do I compare 36V and 48V golf cart batteries?

The catalogue separates models by their stated system voltage class. Use your cart documentation and existing equipment details to discuss the required class with Bill. A class label is a starting point, rather than confirmation that a particular battery fits your cart.

For 36V-class options, review CS Mini 36V 100Ah and HP-Standard 36V 105Ah. For 48V-class options, start with CS Mini 48V 100Ah or CS Mini Plus 48V 100Ah, then compare their complete specifications.

Is capacity enough to choose a battery?

Compare the stated capacity alongside dimensions, continuous-discharge ratings, the cart electrical system, connections and charging setup. The same capacity label does not establish the same physical fit or configuration. Tell Bill about your equipment and intended use before choosing.

Review capacity and model specifications

How is a battery kit different from a single battery?

Read the model description and specification labels to distinguish per-battery ratings from kit totals. The CS Mini Plus 48V 134Ah kit is listed as two 67Ah batteries with 134Ah total capacity. Confirm the complete configuration and supplied accessories with Bill; the kit total is not a per-battery rating.

What should I check before a lithium battery conversion?

Gather the current battery and cart information, charger details, available battery space and any controller or accessory documentation. Discuss the proposed battery and installation together. Confirm the exact model, connections and included equipment before ordering.

Prepare an installation enquiry

Charger and accessory questions

Can I keep my existing golf cart charger?

Share its make, model and rating-label details, along with the cart and proposed battery model. Ask Bill to confirm the charging equipment and configuration for that exact combination before ordering. An existing charger or a matching voltage-class label alone is not confirmation.

Discuss your battery and charger

Does the battery include a charger or installation kit?

The standard kit is listed under “Included with your battery” on the corresponding product page. Check that model’s list for its charger, display and cables. Special connectors, cart fit and additional installation materials may need a separate discussion with Bill.

What should I share about lights and other accessories?

Include the accessory equipment and its rating-label details in your enquiry. If your cart has a converter, include its make and model. Bill can discuss the accessory requirements alongside the proposed battery configuration.

RV and starting-battery enquiries

Do you install RV batteries on site?

On-site installation is offered only with golf cart battery orders within 50 driving miles of our Fort Pierce warehouse, not with RV battery packages. RV support is available by phone or live video, by appointment.

A request does not confirm a booking; Bill confirms the appointment.

What details help with RV house-power selection?

Share the RV model, house-bank voltage, existing batteries, converter or charger, solar controller and the equipment you want to power. House-power and engine-starting needs should be discussed separately.

What details help with an engine-starting battery?

Share the vehicle year, make, model, engine, existing battery reference, physical size and terminal layout. Ask about the exact starting application before choosing a battery.

Quote and delivery

How much does golf cart battery installation cost?

Optional on-site installation costs $350 per golf cart within 50 driving miles of our Fort Pierce warehouse, with a golf cart battery order. The battery is priced separately.

The fee includes extra mounting materials and wiring. Pay for the battery and installation together through PayPal, and confirm at checkout that your delivery address is also the installation address and is within the service area. Bill contacts you to arrange the appointment; adding the service does not reserve a time slot.

Beyond 50 driving miles, request a separate installation quote. Installation outside the area is not guaranteed.

Where is standard battery delivery free?

Standard battery orders include free delivery within the contiguous 48 U.S. states and Washington, DC, to a valid residential or commercial street address.

Online delivery excludes Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, international addresses and P.O. Boxes. Some hazardous-material destinations have additional restrictions; contact Bill before ordering for a special destination.

How long does battery delivery take?

For in-stock standard orders, processing usually takes 1–2 business days after order confirmation, followed by another 3–7 business days in transit. These are separate estimates, not a guaranteed arrival date.

Processing excludes weekends and holidays. Model-specific lead times take precedence; the MOKE battery has a longer supplier schedule. Out-of-stock batteries accept availability enquiries only, without preorder payment. Tracking is supplied after dispatch.

Can I request several products?

Add golf cart models to the quote list, adjust the quantities and send them together. RV or starting-battery needs can be described without choosing a product.

How are price, delivery and payment confirmed?

Available standard battery kits with a Buy Now button can be purchased online at their displayed prices. Add local on-site installation to your golf cart battery purchase for $350 per cart when your installation address is within 50 driving miles of our Fort Pierce warehouse. Confirm the driving distance at checkout and pay together through PayPal; Bill will arrange the appointment. Installation beyond 50 driving miles, special applications and bulk orders require a separate quote.

BMS and discharge-current labels

Does a BMS label state continuous battery output?

Product specifications list DigiMarker’s BMS designations separately from continuous-discharge ratings and protection-fuse labels. Compare the continuous-discharge specification for the battery or individual pack. A BMS or fuse amp label alone does not state continuous battery output; a timed peak rating must include its duration.

For the 134Ah two-battery kit, the stated continuous-discharge specification applies per battery. Discuss the complete configuration with Bill before ordering.

Limited warranty and returns

HP and CS have different registered limited-warranty schedules. Chargers and built-in converters have separate one-year coverage.

Support

Can I get live video installation support?

Your battery purchase includes free video installation guidance with Bill, by appointment. Submitting a request does not confirm a booking.

Share the battery model, your equipment, the installation question, and your preferred call time and time zone. Bill will contact you to confirm the appointment.

Choosing a golf cart battery: what to have ready

Start by checking the cart and its available battery space. A battery can carry the right voltage class and still be wrong for a particular cart, so it helps to gather a few details before comparing models. These notes are preparation, not a substitute for a conversation about your cart.

Start with the cart itself

Measure the space the battery has to live in

Compare compartment measurements alongside the stated voltage class and capacity. Note the length, width and height available, including clearance above the terminals and room for the hold-down. Record where the terminals sit and how much slack the cables allow, because a battery that fits the opening can still fall short on cable reach.

Write down what the cart powers

Accessory load and controller information help confirm that a proposed setup suits the cart as it is actually used.

Ask about what you cannot confirm

If a measurement is unclear or a label is missing, say so rather than estimating. Bill reviews the proposed setup with you, and a live video call can be arranged by appointment to talk through the install. Share connection and cable questions with Bill before ordering.

Then compare models

With those details in hand, browse the golf cart battery catalogue and compare stated voltage class, capacity, continuous discharge and dimensions for each model. The charger and application questions on this page cover the same topics in more depth, including what a BMS label does and does not tell you. When you are ready, send your cart details through the contact form so the reply can address your cart rather than a general model list.

One last check before ordering

Re-read the product page for the model you picked and confirm the price, the included kit and the delivery terms on the day you order. If anything has changed since your conversation, ask before you pay.

If on-site installation matters for your cart, the installation steps explain how the service is arranged.
